About Safehaven
Safehaven is a registered Canadian charity providing specialized care for children, youth, and adults with medical complexities and disabilities. Through supportive group living, children's respite, and transitional care from hospital to home, we create safe, welcoming environments where people receive the care they need to live meaningful lives.
At the heart of our mission is the belief that every child deserves to be seen, heard, and valued. That means making room for more than essential care. Recreation gives the people we support opportunities to explore their interests, discover new experiences, build connections, and enjoy the things that bring them joy.
While essential care is supported through core funding, many recreational experiences rely on the generosity of donors. Proceeds from our Hope for the Holidays 50/50 Raffle will support recreation at Safehaven, helping make activities, adaptive equipment, music, play, and opportunities for discovery possible.
